We got buzzed by two Manta Rays while snorkeling this morning.
Tonight we'll go ashore to a nearby resort that has a beach bar and wood fired pizza oven.
No cell signal so no posting photos from here, but I got some great pics of these Mantas.
Low clouds with slight drizzle and about 72* F

It's warmer here, except in the morning, and we get buzzed by Sandhill cranes, because mantas would freak us out, probably. Congrats to Megan on her scuba training!
ReplyDeleteIt is such fun to be able to share in your exciting adventures and awesome passages aboard Pau Hana...she is definitely in her element now, and I can assure you she will take good care of you! Looking forward to more adventure stories, wishing you blue skies and calm seas, Suzi & Jim (former owners of SV Pau Hana)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note Suzi & Jim! We've been delighted with Pau Hana thus far and regularly comment that the boat is tougher than we are! We are certainly grateful for that. The El NiƱo conditions this year have been a great test and Pau Hana passes with flying colors. The boat sails beautifully!
